Pricing Announced for Refreshed 2022 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI

Volkswagen has kicked off the month of November by announcing pricing on the new 2022 Jetta and Jetta GLI. For the new model year, the Jetta MSRP starts at $20,195 and Jetta GLI MSRP starts at $30,995. The refreshed Jetta family features new technology and styling that will continue to appeal to lovers of the value-oriented Jetta and sporty Jetta GLI.

2022 Jetta

Four trim levels will be offered on the 2022 Jetta – S, Sport, SE, and SEL. The Sport trim is new for 2022 and features XDS electronic differential lock and dark graphite 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels as standard, along with a blacked-out grille, mirror caps and window trim, a black headliner, and unique cloth sport seats. The 2022 Jetta will share an updated turbocharged 1.5-liter incline-four engine with VW’s Taos, making 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.

The IQ. DRIVE package is available on automatic transmission S trims for $955 and upgrades the driver assistance technology with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System), Travel Assist, and Emergency Assist. Manual transmission S trims offer a Driver Assistance package, which includes all the above features minus the Emergency Assist.

2022 Jetta GLI

One trim is offered on the 2022 GLI – the Autobahn. Features in the GLI include VAQ electronically-controlled torque-sensing limited-slip differential and XDS; DCC adaptive damping system; Driving Mode Selection; sport exhaust; 18-inch alloy wheels; projector LEDs with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS); sunroof; heated side mirrors with turn signals; and auto-dimming rearview mirror. In terms of technology and entertainment, you will find the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro with 10.25-inch display and VW’s Composition Media infotainment with 8.0-inch display.

The Black Package is available for $595 and features black 18-inch alloy wheels, along with a black roof, black mirror caps and a black spoiler.

As we head into the seventh-generation of the trademark Volkswagen Jetta, we can only expect to see great things on the new refreshed model for 2022.
