Pricing and more on 2025 Volkswagen Taos

Volkswagen has announced the pricing for the 2025 VW Taos, refreshed with a bold new look, upgraded technology, and more power to compliment the compact SUV. Pricing for Toas models will start at an MSRP of $24,995 for the S trim and $26,695 for the S 4Motion all-wheel drive model.

VW Taos Lineup

Taos S: The entry-level Taos S starts at $24,995 for FWD and $26,695 for 4Motion AWD. Five exterior color options will be offered: Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, Pyrite Silver, Platinum Grey, and Monterey Blue Pearl. Gray and Black Cloth is standard for the S trim.

Powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, the Taos S generates 158 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed conventional automatic transmission, while the AWD model now has an eight-speed conventional automatic transmission in place of the previous DSG dual-clutch automatic.

Taos SE: Building from the S trim, SE pricing starts at $29,595 MSRP. Color options for this model include the same as the S, with the additions of Bright Moss Green, Monument Grey, and Cornflower Blue.

Advanced technology features include standard wireless charging and wireless App Connect; satellite radio and voice control; touch control for Climatronic® HVAC system; full KESSY remote start; the Adaptive Front-lighting System; and Park Distance Control for both front and rear.

Taos SE Black: Pricing for the SE Black trim, which was introduced for 2024, starts at $31,845. This features a black roof, trim, and unique wheels – 19-inches. Other standard content for the SE Black includes black mirror caps; black illuminated grille; and panoramic sunroof.

Taos SEL: Finally, the SEL trim starts with an MSRP of $34,965 with standard 4Motion AWD. Exterior colors also include Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, Pyrite Silver, Platinum Grey, and Monterey Blue Pearl, Monument Grey and Cornflower Blue.

Unique touches include 19-inch alloy-wheels; illuminated grille; leather seating surfaces, available in either a two-tone black and grey combo or a dark blue hue; ventilated front seats, ambient lighting; a panoramic sunroof; 10.25-inch digital cockpit; and Dynamic Road Sign Display.
