Best Volkswagen SUVs for Gas Mileage

This past month, Autoblog came out with a list of best gas mileage SUVs for 2022 – both hybrids and gas engines. A majority of the SUVS on that list are ones that we carry at the Kelly Automotive Group. Two vehicles that are mentioned on Autoblog’s list – the 2022 Volkswagen Taos and the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan – are available here at Kelly Volkswagen in Danvers, MA.

Volkswagen Taos – 28 city / 36 highway

The Volkswagen Taos first arrived at Kelly Volkswagen last summer and has proven to be an excellent choice for those seeking a smaller SUV. Slotted just below the Tiguan, the 2022 Taos offers the brand’s signature driving dynamics, high quality, and smart packaging at a lower price tag.

In addition to being on Autoblog’s list of best SUVs for gas mileage, the 2022 Taos has also earned the title of Car and Driver Editors’ Choice for 2022 and MotorWeek’s Best Small Utility Vehicle for 2022.

Volkswagen Tiguan – 23 city / 30 highway

Volkswagen’s best-selling SUV, both in the U.S. and worldwide, received a refresh for 2022. The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan now has bolder styling and technology for the new model year yet it continues to keep its iconic look.

Volkswagen’s Digital Cockpit instrument cluster now comes standard with an 8-inch display (10-inch Digital Cockpit Pro available), as does Volkswagen Car-Net with in-car Wi-Fi capability when you subscribe to a data plan.
